Does Your Prayer Life Reflect Who's Word You Believe In?

Live Your Life Today

Blogger: Wilhemenia Ozier

What are you praying when It Comes to the "Corona Virus "?

Are You Washing Hands?

Are You Laying Hands?

Are we walking around in fear?

The word of God tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power , and of love and a sound mind.

We have to be mindful in this season what we allow in our spirit. We are suppose to obey the law of the land.

Romans 13: 1-2

1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

However, we can not loose focus we have to speak and stand on Gods word.

What are the symptoms of the virus? and What are we being told to do to combat the virus from spreading?

What are the belief's of the individuals that are giving the instructions?

Are we praying for our Leaders, Government Officials, President, Scientist,Lab Workers, Doctors, Nurses, Corona Virus Task Force?

Are we asking God to give them instructions and provide the cure according to his word?

Symptoms of Coronavirus  Disease ( COVID-19)

Cough
Fever
Tiredness
Difficulty Breathing (Severe Cases)

Preventive Measures

Wash your hands
Social Distancing
Stop Large Gatherings
Use Face Mask

The preventive instructions are things that we are praying and doing that are suppose to prevent the virus.

However, the actions we are taking are limiting and preventing the gospel from going forth in some parts of the world.

The preventive measures are contrary to the word of God and how God has shown himself strong throughout this journey called Life.

Let's Reflect on what Gods Word says concerning the symptoms and the preventive measuring.

Leviticus 26:40-42 New International Version (NIV)40 “‘But if they will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors—their unfaithfulness and their hostility toward me,

41 which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies—then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin,

42 I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.

Mark 16:17-18
New International Version (NIV)17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Matthew 8:14-15 New International Version (NIV)14 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.

15 He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.

Exodus 12:13-14 New International Version (NIV)13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

14 “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance.

Hebrews 10:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Who are you praying too?

Exodus 20:1-6  (New International Version (NIV)

1 And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

During this season stay steadfast and unmovable and trust Gods Word. Speak Gods word to the Coronavirus Disease.

At the end of each and every day God is in control of all things concerning each of us!

Will The Real Women Please Stand Up

Live Your Life Today

"Will the Real Women Please Stand Up"

When We get tired of pretending to be someone else.... We will embrace the Woman that God has called Us too Be.

Galatians 1:10

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

We as sisters we are "Enough" we  are the daughters of the Most High God.

Psalm 139: 14-16

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Until we become comfortable with the inner and outer "Me" that is within each of US!!!

There will always be a sense of  frustration lingering around to hold US down.

1 Peter 3:3-4

Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

Depression, guilt, low-self esteem, feelings of no self-worth,loss of peace, loss of joy, anxiety, no motivation will continue to follow us around and take root in our spirit.

Just Want You by Travis Green (Featuring Jordon Connell & Chandler Moore)

Until we as anointed woman of God stand up and speak  God's word over our lives. We will continue to get the same results...... We spend each day actually doing the same thing expecting a different result which is considered Insanity.

We have to stop the enemy from trying to plant negative thoughts that eventually continue to lead us down the road of destruction. Delaying our purpose, call and destiny that God has for our lives.

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;

What did God call you to do my sister? Stay in your Lane

Get comfortable with Doing You & Being You!!!

There is nobody on this earth that can be You........Better than you!

If we do not get a grip and come out of denial. We will continue to feel how we feel emotionally drained and no self worth.

My Sister's We are to busy pretending to be someone that we are not........ We are accepting the mind games that Satan is playing!!!!!  "You Are Good Enough"

I challenge you My Sister to Stand Up and Be who God has called you to be on this day!

In some instances, we need Counseling or Therapy  don't be embarrassed to call and set an appointment  today.

We need to speak and be heard not holding a  conversation with someone that disrupts and  partially listening.

We sometimes need someone to talk to that has the time to walk with us through our issues.

My sister sometimes we spend so much time pretending to be someone else we often loose sight of who we really are at the moment.

You are not a Replica of any Designer......You are the Original!

On this day I Challenge You to Accept and Be the "Genuine and  Authentic You"!!!!

God Probed and Examined Your Heart Last Night? Did You Pass the Test?

Live Your Life Today

Blogger: Wilhemenia Ozier

 Proverb 17:3 NIV

3 Though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me, you will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed.

  • If you knew that God probed and examined your heart at night would your thoughts, actions or behavior be different?
  • If God probed and examined your heart last night would the results be good? Would you pass the test?

If you struggle with unforgiveness, clamor or malice this maybe a door that Satan uses to keep you out of the will of God.

Satan’s mission is to kill, still and destroy!!!! Whatever door he can find open he will use it to his advantage. A sneaky way that Satan enters is though our heart, thoughts and emotions.

We have to ask God to create and renew our mind daily. If we stay focused on the hurt and pain it becomes difficult to forgive quickly.

Psalm 51:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Romans 12:2King James Version (KJV)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The hardest thing to do is to forgive someone quickly that has hurt us and caused much pain. We have to learn to forgive quickly and not allow our feelings and emotions get his best of us.

If I can be perfectly honest when God examined my heart and probed my heart last night I had some unresolved issues.

Satan knows that the best way to get you out of the will of God is to send things and people your way that will hurt you. We often can’t get pass the hurt because we keep rehearsing the incident or the conversation that caused so much pain.

We have to be the bigger person …… Yes you did hurt me!

However, I choose to forgive you now in Jesus Name!  When we choose to forgive quickly this takes Satan’s power away.

Yes it is a hard pill to swallow when friends and family hurt us. We have to stay in Gods will and it requires us to make the first move.  I refuse to allow Satan to hurt me and rob me of all that God has for me.

I know that as you are reading in the back of your mind you are saying the hurt was intentional.  It does not matter that the hurt and pain was very intentional.  Please keep in mind that God probe and examine your heart at night.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

We have to make a conscious decision to forgive, guard our hearts and be mindful of the words that we speak.

You may be thinking, Ok, Wilhemenia, I want to forgive, but it’s so hard. I don’t know if I can do it! Well, I want to encourage you to know that in Christ, you can forgive—no matter what has been done to you. Here are four steps you can take to genuinely forgive:

1. Make a Quality Decision

Forgiveness is about more than saying a prayer, like, “Lord, I forgive so-and-so.” Forgiveness is a serious decision you make. It’s not easy and it will probably be uncomfortable or even painful, but the reward of going through it will be worth any pain you’ve experienced.

2. Depend on God

Fortunately, we can depend on God to gain the strength needed to forgive. This means we live with a prayerful mindset and attitude: “Lord, help me not to be offended today. Keep me from unnecessary anger. If I am mad at someone, show me who it is. Give me the grace to forgive them.” (See Ephesians 4:32.)

If you’re easily offended or there’s a person in your life who just annoys you, not only do you have to decide to forgive and live in peace, but you are going to have to depend on God for the grace to do it and make it a matter of prayer.

3. Understand Your Emotions

The dictionary says that emotion means to "move out" and emotions provoke psychological changes that prepare a person for action. So feelings create a desire to do something. When somebody hurts you and you feel pain, the first thing you may want to do is tell them off. You may want to get them back or you want to get away from them.

You need to know that your feelings will probably need time to catch up with your decision to forgive. Your feelings are not the real you. They’re fickle. You can feel a thousand and one different ways about the same thing. You can love somebody one minute and then you can’t stand them the next. But remember, your will gives you the ability to live beyond your feelings.

4. Pray for Your Enemies

In Matthew 5:44 (AMPC), Jesus instructs us to... Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. This has got to be the hardest thing in the whole world to do. But we don’t get out of something just because it’s hard. Whatever God asks us to do, it’s always for our benefit.

Let’s get real practical about this: If you have a coworker who gets the promotion you wanted, the minute you feel jealousy and envy, don’t just pray for them—go buy them a gift. Trust me, it will work, because when you do that, it breaks the power of the devil! (See Romans 12:2)

 The Choice Is Yours
Today, you have the choice to overcome evil with good and find a new level of joy you didn’t know was possible by choosing to forgive. I want to encourage you to do yourself a favor and make the right choice. Forgive.

Remember that as  you prepare to  go to sleep tonight....... God will probe and examine your heart. Will you pass the test?

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I invite you to connect with me. I am here to help push, motivate and  pray with you.
God Bless,
